Retired Major League Baseball players Bruce Bochte, Mark Smith, Steve Kemp and Dave Hostetler all played prep baseball at Los Angeles area Arcadia High School, site of a U.S. Baseball Academy youth baseball camp that starts January 15.
Bochte, a first baseman, played in the majors from 1974-1986; Smith, an outfielder, played from 1994-2003; Kemp, an outfielder, played from 1977-1988; and Hostetler, a first baseman, played from 1981-1988.
