At USBA summer camps, players in grades 1 through 12 gain instruction in all areas of baseball in a fun, day-camp atmosphere. The program is perfect for both serious and beginning players, and it provides an affordable option for working parents of kids who love baseball.

USBA summer camps run for three hours a day for four days, generally from 9 a.m. to noon. Just like our Spring Training program, players learn from the best high school or college coaches in their local area while participating in a program that is consistent with our national teaching itinerary.

This is no YMCA child care service, and it is not a lecture clinic. Your player won’t sit in the bleachers with a hundred others while a coach talks for an hour about this or that. And he won’t be “taught” by a handful of high school kids recruited for a summer job.

At USBA summer camps, players will have fun as they actively participate in drills and games to improve their skills in hitting, pitching, fielding, and baserunning under the watchful eyes of professional coaches. Daily on-field game situation work will help players put these skills to practical use. A player to coach ratio of 10:1 or better ensures that each player gets plenty of attention and can advance at his own pace.

With the half-day format, players have plenty of time to rest and recharge before evening games or practices. This type of instruction in a college setting can cost several hundred dollars, but the local half-day format and our national efficiencies allow us to offer it at a cost of about $15 per hour. Sure, you can find cheaper. But when considering the organization and quality of instruction brought by U.S. Baseball Academy and its coaching staff, we don’t think you will find a better summer camp value.
